"How can you expect the birds to sing when their groves are cut down?" ~Thoreau

So the presentation was alright...I screwed up a little and wasn't able to answer a question the prof asked, but it was for extra credit and it was a tough poem. So I call it good.

The quiz was rough. It's been a long time since I've looked down at a question and gone "I have no idea," but there I was, thinking that. I still managed to pull together and do okay. Either way two quizzes get dropped so I'm still good, but it's strange because I studied for this quiz more than I have the past several. Obviously I should stop studying all together, then I'd never have problems.

All the hard stuff for this week is done...now it's just preparing for all the hard stuff next week which includes:
-A Quiz
-3 Finals
-A final paper
-A test
I predict I'll be crying and rocking back and forth in a corner while chewing my hair by Thursday night.
And then I have finals week (It's only one test, but I like to sound dramatic)

After my classes I hit the library to drop off some books and picked up a nice vanilla latte on ice (Oh Yeah!).

Then I went outside to enjoy the woooooonderful weather. I love sitting along the river. I watched a nice old man fly fish. At first I was worried he was going to fall over in the water as he tried to get his footing on the stones. I was fully prepared to jump in and drag his unconscious body to shore. I even mentally reviewed how to give CPR. But then I realized he had caught something. I clapped. He said it was a rainbow trout. Dude! It was like a foot and a half long. That totally surprised me. Stuff lives in the Red Cedar?! Maybe it was a mutant. To make things even better, the man threw it back. No lives lost=plus. (Afterall, the evil poisons in the Red Cedar probably could have taken out the little old man)

Yeah for nature! Can't I just appreciate God's creation for the next two weeks and NOT do work?

Progress on ENG final paper I wanted to complete today=I have the introduction...I thought watching the trout man was far more interesting.

Progress on The Rights of Woman=Need to start that.

Progress on editing story=need to start that too.

It's a productive day.
