Working Towards the Weekend

The world is good.

I scheduled my classes for the spring yesterday. I got in the three I wanted. Enrollment was supposed to start at 9 AM. When I still couldn't access the system at 9:08, I started to get a little panicked.
I called my friend Lizz.

Lizz: I was just about to call you.
Me: Can you enroll?
Lizz: No. Can you?
Me: No. *Relieved sigh.* At least we can share the pain.

At 9:15 the system started to work. I called Lizz to let her know.

Lizz: I was SO just about to call you.
Me: It's working.
Lizz: I know.

A few minutes later, Lizz called me.

Lizz: I don't see the New Orleans trip. Do you know where it is?
Me: Check under "Maymester."

Fun bonding through panic.

Anyway, I'm having trouble making a decision. I need everyone to pick a number: 1 or 2.
Tell me your choice on my tag board. I've already chosen one of the options, but I can still change it. I'm wavering.

Was in an exceptionally good mood yesterday. I hope it holds out.

Last night before class, I sat in a parking lot on campus and looked out at the Pittsburgh skyline. It was very pleasant with the city lights, leaves blowing in the wind and the warm air. Plus, a huge thunderstorm was approaching and I could see the lightening. I had a nice little talk with God.

The only dark clouds on the skyline right now include:
1) the fact that I have to work an eight hour shift tonight,
2) the fact that my parents and I haven't communicated all week (They're probably waiting for me to calm down and call them and I'm asserting my independence and waiting for them to call me...I'll bet good money my dad caves and calls tomorrow (On the plus side, the anger at their lack of trusting in my ability to make a decision is gone and I've forgiven them...but I'm not going to forget their blunder...yet)
3) the fact that there's underlying stress caused by all the work I have to do and the lack of time I have to do it in.

Elizabeth visits tomorrow!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!
