Got a call at 6 AM. NWA (to name names) has already cancelled my 2 PM flight from Detroit to GR.
They've rescheduled me for tomorrow at 6:30 AM on the one direct flight from Pit to GR. I've noticed that flight before. I've always mocked it, the businessie people it's intended for and its earliness.
So, in honor of my forced change of plans, I've decided to reapply my original semi-failed plan of do-as-much-work-as-humanly-possible-before-you leave. Then tonight I will go to my neighbor's for an Oscar party. I will watch the red carpet stuff and make jokes. Then once the Oscars start, I will go to bed.
Of course, since I'll be waking up at about 3:30 to take a cab, I'll be able to look up the Oscar results fairly early and it will almost be like watching it live. But not.
