Stick Out Your Tongue at the World
Last night I started to unpack and I went downstairs to put some books away. When I came back upstairs, missing luggage had magically appeared outside the front door of the house.
Woke up at 4 AM this morning (AKA 9 AM, London time). Managed to get back to sleep, but was still up by 7 AM, MI time.
Today has been a day of laundry. The fourth load is currently in the washer.
Dad and I also went to Barnes and Noble. I wanted to wiggle the BBC's Pride and Prejudice DVD out of him. He said "maybe for Christmas." I even tried the we-can-watch-it-together route. Six hours of family bonding. My dad said he'd rather do paperwork. So instead I bought enough books, coffee and magazines to equal the same price as the DVD set. (It wasn't on purpose. Dad is just prejudiced against DVDs.
I drove to Holly's house and picked up my third and final bag. The roads were empty. While I pretended to be a race car driver, I couldn't help but notice how pretty and puffy the clouds were. I also rented a movie on the way there.
Upon realizing how much stuff I have, Dad is now considering renting a trailer for the drive to PA. Personally, I'd already assumed a trailer would be a necessity.
Pictures of trip to be posted when I am less lazy.
