Special Report: Get Your Riot Gear
First of all, I'd like you to be aware of the danger I encountered to give you these pictures. That's right, I know have a good idea of what it feels like to be tear gassed. I'd recommend avoiding it whenever possible.
Let's attempt to do this chronologically:
The police were present the entire night.
During half time, Rachel convinced me to go down stairs. There we had our first encounter with the police (and my only face to face one). Apparently, students were not allowed to stand in one place. We either had to "keep walking or go back inside." Finding the requirements stupid we went back to the warm glow of the TV. Sigh. I know, I obeyed the man.

MSU lost.
The police now noticeably have more gear on...Riot gear. One breaks out the microphone. Students don't leave.

The police are given orders to put on their gas masks.

There's a bit of standing around for a while. People get their pictures taken with the police. There are four horsies.

Then the tear gas starts.

Some of it wafted up to my hideout. Stupid wind.
The adventures in tear gas continued for quite some time.

People weren't allowed to leave the apartment buildings. I'll forever remember one man sticking his head out and asking a police man in full riot gear if he can "go to McDonalds?"
Some people got arrested.

After things had calmed down and people were allowed to leave the buildings, I noticed that all of Bogue Street was blocked off by police cars.
I felt the effects of the tear gas right outside of McDonel. Again, stupid wind.
Overall, I'm not entirely sure that the police had proper provocation. There were more people gathered at the Cedar Village apartments last week and the police managed to disperse that peacefully.
