The moving process has proven more difficult than I would have liked. A trailor couldn't be attached to the car my parents and I were taking to PA, so I could only take a few boxes worth of stuff. It seems I will be lacking some of my necessary possessions for several weeks.
I likes my new apartment. I don't know what to do with all the space besides walk around and twirl in circles. My furniture should be delivered tomorrow. However, I'll have to assemble it all myself. I predict my apartment will be completely furnished by the time I have to move out in 2-2.5 years.
The only major drawback to my apartment is the fact that the previous owner apparently had multiple dogs. Dogs, that in my opinion, weren't properly potty-trained. Apartment smells of dog pee-pee. The smell is worst in the living room. Have already put in a request to have the carpet removed in that room.
Also, apartment phones don't work...but those (God willing) should be repaired tomorrow.
I gave my cell phone to my parents so they'd have a phone on the drive back to Michigan. So more or less, I'm completely incommunicado. I'd also recommend not calling me for about a week...as still won't have new cell phone.
Parents were super good to me and bought be a new TV and DVD/VCR. (Old reliable VCR died...very upsetting) However, I won't have any TV channels until Sept 6th (again, God willing) and due to trailor problem...I only have 5 DVDs. So gift of mindless entertainment will only get minimal use.
