"Everything is going to change, isn't it?"..."Yes."
Ended up going to a 7 o'clock showing of Harry Potter last night. Luckily there were no burpy kids. There were, however, posturing high school and junior high students. They're fun to watch.
I can't wait to rewatch the movie IMAX style next weekend.
While waiting for the movie, I wandered the Barnes and Noble magazine section. On the cover of "OK" magazine, I saw a picture of Jennifer Garner (upper-right). With just a glance at the cup she's carrying, I can tell you she's drinking a Starbucks, grande, passion fruit iced tea. I scare myself sometimes.
Today, I went and visited the bog people. Err, I went to the Pittsburgh Natural History Museum and saw an exhibit on the bog people. The bodies that were displayed looked a lot like giant raisins with red hair. The reconstructed face of one of the men, lovingly called Red Franz, disturbed me a little because I know a man from my tour of Europe who looked a lot like him.
I also went to the main library and got a library card (something I've been meaning to do for two months now). In the library cafe, I met a barista and I swear he works (worked?) at another cafe company. So I started to wonder, was it fate that this man was supposed to serve me coffee multiple times at multiple locations or is he just a bad barista who got fired and hired elsewhere? (He was slow making my drink and by my calculation he should have been doing this for almost two months now)
Also saw another Barnes and Noble cafe regular at the library. Luckily, he didn't seem to recognize me.
Also, I have a DVD surprise for all you friends I'm seeing over Thanksgiving break. You guys still need to tell me specifically what DVDs you want me to bring to MI, besides your surprise of course.
