Giddy-Ons
I just cheated Barnes and Noble out of 15-ish dollars and read Sin City in the store while drinking my precious Vanilla Chai Tea Latte. Ummmm...latte...off topic. Having read the graphic novel, I now permit myself to see the movie. As you all should know, I'm going home this weekend. So, who in GR wants to see/rewatch Sin City with me sometime Friday? I could also do Saturday before Sarah's par-tay. Anyone? Takers? You know you wanna!
In other news, the Gideons Bible people were out today. I'm always torn over what to do. On the one hand, I already have Jesus and numerous Bibles. Therefore, their money is kinda wasted if I take a Bible. But on the other hand, I have tried to evangelize to friends and strangers too...people can be cruel. So I think taking a Bible and telling the little, well-dressed, old men to "have a great day" can really brighten their potentially very bad moment. What to do?
I sided with my second hand. Whenever I saw any of the Bible toting men, I took one. All in all, I gained four green copies of the New Testament/Psalms/Proverbs today. An all time high. Suffice to say, my bag was very heavy this morning as I also dragged Compy around with me. I shall add the small Bibles to the collection I've developed over the years. And who knows, maybe at some point I'll be able to give them away.
